Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a Tonny Moser limited edition print and an open edition print?

Tonny’s limited edition prints have a specific numbered run and once sold out they are no longer available for sale as they cannot be reprinted. Most of the print runs are in series of 450-600. A limited edition print will have the number on the left hand lower corner of the print. For example, 275/600. Open edition prints are not numbered. An open edition print may be reprinted time after time. Each limited edition print will have a certificate of authenticity (COA) signed by the Estate of Tonny Moser. As Tonny has deceased, prints will not be hand signed by her.

How are prints packaged and shipped?

Depending on the size, prints will be shipped in tubes or reinforced cardboard mailers. All prints will be protected by archival (acid-free) paper and foam as well as plastic wrap. Shipping options vary depending on destination. We use Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, Purolator and Courier.

What do I do if my print arrives damaged?

Please record the damage prior to accepting the package and take pictures of the packaging and the damaged print. We will be happy to work with you and the courier company responsible for the damage to get a replacement print to you as soon as possible.

Is there a return policy?

Due to the delicate nature of art prints, prints will not be accepted for return or exchange unless damaged by shipping.

Which methods of payment are accepted?

At present, payment may be made in cash, by cheque or Canadian money order. For international shipments we accept wire transfers (please make sure to add bank fees to the wire). Payment may be made in person at time of pick-up. Payment for shipped prints must be completed before order is shipped. COD for shipped prints is not accepted. Other methods of payment will be available in the near future.

How do I care for my print?

Once your print is framed by a reputable framer, the following suggestions should be followed to increase the life of your art print:

  • Avoid hanging any piece of art where it will be exposed to direct sunlight as this is the single most damaging element for your art. The best glass will not protect your print from fading due to sun exposure.
  • Halogen and fluorescent lamps are not recommended.
  • Always hang your framed print by two hangers to prevent excessive stress on the framing wire and to help keep your print hanging level.
  • When handling your framed print, hold it with two hands, one on each side.
  • When cleaning the glass, do not spray cleaner directly onto the glass as it can run under the edge of the frame and contaminate the print. Spray your cloth first, then gently wipe the glass clean.
  • If you must handle the print before going to the framer: ensure that your hands are clean and dry (if possible wear cotton gloves), taking great care not to damage the corners or bend or fold the print in any way.
